Governance and Awareness Department

The Governance and Awareness Department works to spread the awareness on cyber security policies and legislation, while monitoring the implementation of these private and public security policies.

We aim to raise awareness among university members and communities through the following departments:

 

The Department of Polices and Legislations

- Developing, implementing and maintaining university's cyber security, plans and procedures

-Identifying security tasks and responsibilities

- Reporting to concerned authorities.

-Monitoring and managing cybersecurity at the university

The Governance and Risk Department

- Enforcing information security plans and policies

- Developing strategic and risk management strategy plans

- Governing information security plan and programs.

-Audit and monitoring

Awareness and Training Department

- Contacting external parties, such as: security companies and relevant government sectors

-Contacting the Standing Committee of Cybersecurity

- Contacting the General Department of Information Technology

- Carrying out quality awareness within the university and to external entities.
