The “Be Careful” initiative is one of the important initiatives implemented by General Administration of Cybersecurity on Thursday, 10/19/2023, which aims to enhance awareness of the dangers of electronic phishing, and the need for caution in our use of the digital environment. The “Be Careful” initiative is an excellent model of cooperation between stakeholders and the local community in the field of cybersecurity.
The initiative included various activities aimed at educating individuals about the importance of maintaining the security of personal data and sensitive information. Experts and specialists in the field of cybersecurity presented an awareness and interactive lecture to the attendees, in which the latest methods of fraud and electronic phishing and how to deal with them were reviewed.
At the end of the event, all individuals who reported electronic phishing attempts were honored, in appreciation of their effective role in improving the security of the university’s digital environment. Each individual received a certificate of thanks and appreciation proving their positive efforts and initiative in preserving the safety of users and their contribution to enhancing security awareness.
